It was necessary to climb the tower to put down the feeder as the antenna analyzer showed there is a feeder problem about 20 meters up

SWR Readings
After removing the basic feeder (long section) and checking the SWR at the end of the short section which is connected directly to the antenna. SWR is OK so the problem is with the basic feeder. Antenna is OK
Feeder Problem
When we had the basic feeder down we removed the isolation and we could see that the moisture penetrated the feeder. The feeder looked like that on the length of 3-4 meters. Extreme sections of the feeder were OK so the problem was with the outer isolation somwhere (visually it was impossible to find the hole in the isolation)

Our next task was to put down the 40 meters tower to maintain the antenna and the rotator

SN0HQ Operation Position
30 minutes before the start of the IARU HF 2022. We were supporting 20m/CW. The operating position is ready for the contest

So the 40 meters Yagi is finally down and removed from the tower

The new antenna rotator is mounted inside the tower. The old one has been damaged by a strong wind. The big Yagi under the pressure of strong winds has damaged the worm gear inside the old rotator

It was not an easy task to place the antenna back to the mast as the antenna weight is over 80 kilograms. Grzesiek SQ4NR

We were not able to put the tower up. It started to rain and then the weekend was over and we had to come back to our homes and families

Na koniec dnia w niedzielę maszt (11 elementów kratownicy) został ponownie postawiony wraz z odnowionym zestawem 2x6el Yagi na 21MHz. Z tej perspektywy nie wygląda, że boom każdej z anten ma nieco ponad 14m długości.
